    While I usually use this space to discuss new, exciting trees and
shrubs for your landscape, I'm going to go a little different route in
this issue. As a buyer for Johnson's, I am approached about new products
seemingly all the time. Some have merit, others we leave to that "New
Product Graveyard" in the sky.

Revolutionary New Product
    It's rare, however, that we come across a new product that has the
opportunity to completely revolutionize how we garden in our homes. Many
people grow herbs, houseplants, etc. indoors during the winter months,
but how do fresh tomatoes sound in January? How about fresh (E. coli

AeroGarden!

NASA Tested Technology
    The AeroGarden is the world's first and only (that I know of)
kitchen gardening appliance. Utilizing NASA tested aeroponic technology,
 the AeroGarden takes all of the guesswork out of growing, right in
your very own kitchen! (Or den, office, wherever!)

    The heart of the AeroGarden is the growing bowl, where the magic of
aeroponics takes place. The bowl is temporarily removable from the rest
of the system for use as a centerpiece. Or, imagine having a
harvest-your-own salad party with the ingredients lined up on your
kitchen island!

    The AeroGarden has holes for up to seven plants at once. Under the
lid, on the front of the AeroGarden, you can monitor water levels and
actually see the roots of the plants growing in their nutrient-rich
solution.

    The base of the AeroGarden is really the brains of the unit, with a
computerized control panel taking all of the guesswork out of your
gardening experience! Simply set the controls for the crop you choose to
grow, and it will tell you when to add water and nutrient tablets
(included with each Seed Kit). The base is also programmed to
automatically set the required light cycles for the particular crop,
turning them on and off as needed to produce extraordinary results!

    With the AeroGarden you can, and will, grow up to five times faster
than in potting soil, with absolutely none of the guesswork!

    Along with the Gourmet Herb Seed Kit that comes prepackaged with the
AeroGarden units, we also offer International Basil, Japanese Herbs,
Italian Herbs, Salad Greens, and Cherry Tomatoes to suit your particular
tastes.
