Gard'n-Wise Choice is a premium grade, organically composted blend of composted cotton burrs, composted cattle manure, alfalfa meal, feather meal, cottonseed meal and sulfur. It is suited for a wide range of soil conditions, plants, flowers and rose varieties. By incorporating Gard'n-Wise Choice into your garden, you release beneficial microorganisms into the soil as well as improve the soil's ability to quickly establish a vigorous and brilliant plant, flower or rose bed. Gard'n-Wise Choice is excellent, not only as a soil conditioner at the time of planting but also as a top dressing throughout the year. Your plants will love its rich ingredients, each with its own unique nutrient composition: Cotton Burr Compost--is unsurpassed in its ability to break up clay soil and improve water retention in sandy soil. At the same time, it's a rich food source for beneficial soil organisms. Cattle Manure--is included in the blend for its trace elements and soil conditioning qualities. Alfalfa Meal--is an organic source of nitrogen and potassium. The nitrogen helps plants grow stronger and taller and the potassium promotes stronger limbs and branches. Alfalfa meal is an excellent natural plant food. Cottonseed Meal--is a natural source of nitrogen, phosphate and potash that helps create acidic soil conditions and aids in production of friendly soil bacteria. Cottonseed meal is a valuable slow-release fertilizer. Feather meal--is an excellent alternative source of rich, organic nitrogen. Feather meal releases nitrogen into the soil more slowly and in greater amounts than most other nitrogen sources. Sulfur--helps create acid soil conditions and also acts as a soil conditioner. Helps lower pH in excessively alkaline soils. It is slow acting but long lasting.
