We Go The Extra Mile for You at Johnson's

    Personalized service ... that's what it's all about. It begins when
you first come in to the store. We help you find the correct plant,
shrub or product to fit your particular needs. Then we check you out,
get your purchases loaded or make arrangements for delivery. Sometimes
we arrange with our landscape department for installation.

    But that's "not quite all" the Johnson's staff puts into customer
service.

    I am continually amazed by the knowledge and dedication of Johnson's
experienced staff; their dedication to go the extra mile, to stay the
extra hour, to study new information, to do research, to get accurate
information to help our customers.

    Every week, you can watch Marty on TV and listen to Marty and Jeremy
on the radio answering questions on a wide variety of problems and
situations. They are third and fourth generation Johnsons and take pride
in helping with the latest up-to-date information.

    But the pride doesn't stop there. It runs all through the staff. I
see the research and study that is done if a customer asks a question
that a staff member doesn't know or isn't sure about. And we do get lots
of questions. When you shop with us,I'm sure you've noticed how often
the phone rings. That's a true sign of the trust Johnson's Garden Center
has established over these many years.

    Free seminars are another source of customer service. These are
timely, well prepared classes that Johnson's Garden Center puts together
to inform our customers. We've covered a wide range of topics this
spring including landscaping, potting, fertilizer, flower boxes and
purple martins. We have many summer and fall seminars planned for you,
too.

    Johnson's Plant Guide is awesome. If you haven't looked at our 2002
Plant Guide, please stop by to pick up your free copy. All our trees,
shrubs, perennials, water plants and more are  in this guide, along with
specific plant information, sizes and prices. Once again, all this is an
effort to get precise, accurate information to you, our customers.

    As the new guy at Johnson's, I have been impressed with all that
I've seen and I will do my part to carry on the high standards that have
been set.
