If you have ever thought about installing a water garden, it's now easier than ever, with an Aquascape pond kit. These kits have everything you need (except rocks, plants, fish and water) to complete your project. If you want to learn how to install one from start to finish, plan to attend our "Build a Pond in a Day" seminar on June 8. RHODODENDRONS If you have a protected spot on the north or east side of your house, be sure to try an azalea or rhododendron. These spring-blooming plants are gorgeous when planted out of the hot summer sun with Cotton Boll Compost and encouraged to grow with ferti-lome Acid Loving Plant Food. These purple, red, pink, white and yellow flowering shrubs will surely be traffic stoppers. FRUITS & VEGETABLES In the vegetable garden, plant seeds of beets, lettuce, peas, radishes, spinach and turnips. It's also time to put out cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, garlic, rhubarb, potatoes and onions. Now's the time to plant strawberries, too. Other delicious fruits that will be available at Johnson's this spring are blackberry, blueberry, gooseberry, grape and raspberry.
