Intoxicating fragrance. 'Red President' Canna - To start outdoors, plant 3-5" deep, 4-12" apart. Plant root stalks directly in the bed, but not before soil temperature is 65Á, usually mid to late April. Grows 3-5 ft. tall. Full sun. Dig up after first frost. Store in peat moss for next season. 'Albo Marginata' Hosta - Low maintenance. A popular shade perennial that is a valuable addition to the landscape. Dark green leaves edged with broad bands of white, lavender flowers late July-Aug., 30". Fan roots over soil mound and cover crown with 1" of soil. If planted before last frost mulch thoroughly. 'Stella de Oro' Daylily - Hardy perennial flower grown from slender tubers that grow in full sun or partial shade. Space 15-24" apart. Fan roots over soil mound and cover crown with 1" of soil.
