Merry Christmas from Johnson's Garden Centers!
Hello again!
The last days before Christmas our gift buying reaches the ‘get it done’ point. With just a few days to go, we still have a bit of time remaining, thank goodness! Recently I encouraged you to think about coming up with a generational gift when considering friends and family, something that would be treasured for years - and generations - to come.
This week I’ll encourage you to consider giving something alive. No, not a puppy or kitten, although they are hard to resist. (Maybe consider that next year when you can plan for and manage such a gift!)
What about a plant? This season we have our ornament bar open every day for you to come by and create your own ‘living ornament’. You can be creative with your choice of hanging glass terrarium, personalized with colorful sand and a tillandsia or ‘air plant’. Our greenhouses are filled with tropical houseplants to brighten your indoors this winter as well.
Our tiny plant assortment has become one of our most visited plant departments for a while. With terrarium glass, dish garden containers, potting media, sand and gravel, picking out a ‘miniature gardening kit’ for someone is really pretty simple and fun with the wide variety of plant options available. A few items and a gift card for selecting plants at the garden center will create an activity for any age that will be remembered for a long time.
If you’re still decking the halls, we have fresh cut trees, greenery and porch pots now at 50% off. We also have 40% off all permanent greenery, trees, picks and florals and Christmas decor. Fontanini nativity is 25% off. LED sport team signs are 20% off. While supplies last, of course.
With the days remaining before Christmas, I hope you’ll take time to enjoy the holidays. Thankfully tomorrow the Winter Solstice will arrive at 9:27 PM in our area. After that, Winter will officially be here, plus we’ll be enjoying a bit more sunlight each day!
