Application rates
Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds: For new gardens, apply 1-2 lbs. per 10 square feet. For new transplants, add 1 tbsp. per hole.
Containers: For new plantings, add 2-3 tbsp. per gallon of soil OR 0.5-1 lb. per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1 tbsp. per gallon into the soil surface.
Lawns: Apply 2.5-5 lbs. per 1,000 square feet. For new lawns, apply 5 lbs. per 1,000 square feet.
Trees, Shrubs & Vines: Spread 1 lb. per 2″ of trunk diameter. For grapes, apply ½-1 lb. to the soil around each plant. For new trees, mix 4-8 oz. with the backfill soil.
