Hydretain is now available for home use! These unique moisture management granules can be used in your lawn, landscape, garden, and potted planters to reduce watering needs by up to 50%. Hydretain minimizes drought stress, improves nutrient use, boosts seed germination, and stops localized dry spots (our favorite use!) Hydretain is not a polymer crystal, wetting agent, or surfactant. Hydretain granules are hygroscopic and humectant components that attract moisture like tiny "water magnets" - moisture that, without Hydretain, isn't available for plant roots to take up.

Hydretain is safe for kids and pets - no waiting period after application. Use on turf, trees, flowers, shrubs, fruit, and vegetable gardens. Lawn application rate:  2.5 to 3 lbs. per 1,000 sq.ft. Garden application rate: 1 pound for each 100 sq. ft. Shrubs and container application rate: 1 pound for each cu. ft. of planting media. Tree application rate: 1.5 to 2 lbs. for each caliper inch.
