Every August we bring in fresh Hatch, New Mexico Green Chile. Then we fire roast them to perfection over an open flame right here at Johnson's Garden Centers. Use your Chile Peppers right away, or freeze them to enjoy over time. Chiles are available in bushels (approx. 20 lbs.) and half bushels (approx. 10 lbs.) Smaller "starter size" packages and freeze dried peppers are available in store only.

Because we roast fresh green chile, our supply will vary throughout the season. Order early - especially if you like the hotter peppers!

Hatch Green Chile Peppers are amazing in all kinds of food and drink. Try them in eggs, beef or chicken chili, chile rellenos, margaritas, burgers, queso, brownies, corn bread, beans, cheesy corn dip, salsa verde... We could go on and on! Get them while they're here!
