Order your Hatch green chiles ahead and pick up in-store!

Every August, we bring in fresh Hatch, New Mexico Green Chile. Then we fire-roast them to perfection over an open flame right here at Johnson's Garden Centers. Ordering ahead is a great way to guarantee your favorite level of heat. Use your Chile Peppers right away, or freeze them to enjoy over time. Available in bushels (approx. 20 lbs.) or half bushels (approx. 10 lbs.) Fresh Chile and smaller "starter size" packages available in store only. 

Hatch Green Chile Peppers are amazing in all kinds of food and drink. Try them in eggs, beef or chicken chili, chile rellenos, margaritas, burgers, queso, brownies, corn bread, beans, cheesy corn dip, salsa verde... We could go on and on! Pick up our cookbook for our favorite recipes, as well as handling and preparation tips.

IMPORTANT: You will be notified by email or phone call when your Chile Peppers are ready for pickup. Store pickup only at your specified Johnson's location. For your convenience, your Chile Peppers will be held and ready for roasting at pickup time.
