Sundancer is "the hottest buffalograss under the sun!" Sundancer buffalograss is a warm-season grass that spreads vigorously via runners. It's a high-quality seed that produces a dense, dark-green turf with a fine leaf texture. Best of all, Sundancer lawns are resistant to disease while requiring significantly less watering and mowing than fescue lawns. Sundancer buffalograss is designed for earlier spring green-up and later fall color retention than standard buffalograss. Highly drought-tolerant. Low nitrogen usage. Buffalograss actually prefers heavier soils, so it's perfect for clay soils found in parts of Wichita. Very sandy soils may need amended before planting. Plant in spring or summer, in locations receiving at least 6-8 hours of sun daily. Seeding rate: 2-3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Overseeding rate: 1-2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Sold in a 1 lb. bag.
